The Malta Critical Infrastructure Protection Directorate currently provides the following services:

1. Promote further cyber security information sharing, involving the Public Adminsitation, the private sector and society.
2. Enabling, through policy and strategic direction, agreed procedures and information sharing tools.
3. Establishing early warning systems as part of the formation of an operational and coordination framework for cyber security response.
4. These services will act as a secure information exchange engine.
