following links are external entities that represent a wide spectrum of
resources related to CIP and Cyber Security. Note, that as these are
external resources, Malta CIP has no control over the nature, content
and availability of these sites:
- Malta Transport Authority’s
(TM) mission is to promote and develop the transport sector in Malta by
means of proper regulation and by promotion and development of related
services, businesses and other interests both locally and
internationally.
- Malta Resources Authority (MRA)
is a public corporate body with regulatory responsibilities relating to
water, energy and mineral resources in the Maltese Islands.
- Malta Communications Authority (MCA) is the national regulatory authority of the communications sector in Malta.
- Malta Financial Services Authority
(MFSA) is the single regulator for financial services in Malta. The
financial services sector incorporates all financial activity including
that of credit institutions, financial and electronic money
institutions, securities and investment services companies, regulated
markets, insurance companies, pension schemes and trustees.
- The Laws of Malta website
is one of the services offered by the Ministry for Justice, Culture and
Local Government. This service brings together a collection of all the
Laws of Malta, including the Constitution, the Statute Law Revision Act,
1980 and subsidiary legislation.
- The Malta Police
have a mixed responsibility in respect of its investigative role and
national security. In the investigative role the Malta police is legally
bound to act upon the receipt of any information, report or complaint,
and decide the respective natures of such information in order to treat
accordingly.
- The Data Protection Act provides that a data subject has a right of access over his own personal data.
